Every personal site needs a first post.

I built this site to have a place that's entirely mine — no algorithmic feed, no character limits, no platform deciding what gets surfaced. Just a simple page where I can write things down and share them if I feel like it.

What I'll write about

Mostly things I'm building or figuring out. Software, tools, ideas that are bouncing around in my head. I don't have a strict topic in mind — if something feels worth writing down, it'll probably end up here.

The stack

This site is built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS, deployed to Cloudflare Pages. Posts are plain MDX files sitting in a content/posts/ directory. No CMS, no database — just files.

Simple feels right for something like this.
